24.11.2021 (09:00)

The crews of Mi-35M attack helicopters of the aviation unit of the army aviation of the Southern Military District (SMD), based in the Kuban, worked out a cross-shift of positions and a sharp change of directions when conducting air combat at a minimum altitude of up to 200 m.

The pilots engaged in close air combat at permissible altitudes, performing complex figures to re-attack a mock enemy or withdraw from a conditional battle.

The servicemen mastered combat and forced U-turns, turn and U-turn on the hill, diving with different pitch angles.

The Mi-35M helicopter crews as part of the flight also practiced hovering above the ground and vertical landing at a minimum distance between the helicopters.

Practicing aerobatics on a helicopter allows the crew to fully master aircraft technology, gain air combat skills, as well as better navigate by helicopter instruments.

More than 50 military personnel of flight and technical personnel took part in the flights, 6 helicopters were involved.
