New Tool Showcases Efforts to Safeguard Wildlife, Tackle Climate Crisis, Expand Opportunities to Connect with Nature

WASHINGTON, D.C.-A new website launched by the Biden Administration showcases locally-led efforts that are underway to safeguard wildlife, tackle the climate crisis, restore public lands, and expand opportunities for people to connect with nature.

"President Joe Biden, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, and the administration have been working to conserve and restore our lands and waters so people and wildlife alike can thrive for future generations. This landmark conservation census underscores not only the work ahead, but also the historic progress we've made to collaboratively conserve America's waterways, forests, wetlands, grasslands, shrublands, waterways, parks, and coasts," said Abby Tinsley, vice president for conservation policy at the National Wildlife Federation." We look forward to working with our partners in Washington and across the country to build on this progress by restoring our natural resources and ensuring that people have equitable access to thriving wildlife, lands, and waters."
