‘Perris Got Talent’ Concludes with Grand Performances

PERRIS, Calif. (October 21, 2019) -- The 6th annual 'Perris Got Talent' concluded in grand fashion at the Bob Glass Gymnasium located at 101 North D Street on October 12, 2019.

The event, which started in September 2014, was open to musicians, rappers, singers, dancers, gymnasts and any other performers of the arts. The semi-final event was held on October 5, 2019 and had 44 total participants. The open auditions, semi-finals and final performance are available for playback on the Perris Today Facebook page.

Divisions were made up of the junior division (ages 5-12), the senior division (ages 13-17) and the adult division (ages 18+) and are split during auditions and semi-finals. The top 3 from each division advanced to the finals to compete for the grand prizes.

Sheila Diggs took the first-place prize of $800 with her performance of 'At Last' Etta James. Clarice Evangeline Gutierrez followed with a Hip-Hop Dance mix that won the 2nd place prize of $500. Viranelly Aleman took home the 3rd place prize of $200 with a Spanish Performance, while George Castillo placed 4th ($75 gift card) and Emani Boone 5th ($50 gift card).

Perris Got Talent was developed to help entertainers perfect their craft and give them a chance to perform on the big stage. Look for it next year for your chance to win!
