Quality of Life hosts open field day at Oakland Terrace

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 25, the City of Panama City Quality of Life Department will host a community open field day at Oakland Terrace for those wishing to use the ball fields completely free of charge.

Every Tuesday from 5-9 pm., Panama City residents can utilize the ball fields on a first come, first serve basis. No official games can be held, waivers must be signed (provided on site), community members must abide by all facility rules, and fields will only be available to the community for open field day during the off season.

The City of Panama City may change or discontinue the privilege of community field day services for all or select groups from time to time without prior notice due to previous commitments, field and/ or facility maintenance, or the neglect or misuse of city property. Quality of Life asks that patrons be respectful of others during this open field time.

Currently there are two of four fields available for open field day. The other two are being aerated and will be made available as soon as possible.
