IT outsourcing expert and dispute resolution specialist the latest Partners to join expanding Bevan Brittan

Bevan Brittan has made it eight Partner hires for the year with the arrival of two more respected specialists in senior roles.

Ash Woodcock becomes the latest recruit for the firm's Birmingham office, just two months after two other Partners and two Senior Associates joined the team in the city, where the firm has grown by almost a quarter in 2021 alone.

The IT outsourcing and commercial specialist, who joins from Eversheds Sutherland, is joined by London-based dispute resolution and regulatory expert Daniel Purcellas a new Partner,who joins from Capsticks.

Ash brings notable experience in complex public sector procurement projects, including IT outsourcing, public-private partnerships (PPP), strategic partnerships and other significant outsourcing contracts. His experience boosts a Local and Central Government team that is already recognised as being a market leader in the sector, where the firm is ranked in the top tier nationally in the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directory guides.

Daniel adds his experience of acting in complex disputes, investigations and litigation for public service commissioners, providers and regulators, specialising in commercial dispute resolution, fraud response and procurement and supply contract disputes, as well as governance and regulation, and reputation management.

The news comes just weeks after Bevan Brittan announced that Construction Partners Sarah Wilson and Helen Andrews and Higher Education Corporate specialist Rachel Soundy had joined the firm.

Earlier this year, Bevan Brittan recorded a 9.1% increase in revenue to £56.1m (19/20: £51.4m) - its eight consecutive year of growth - and recently produced its strongest performance to date in the latest Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners directory rankings.
