Participation in the informal meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the OIC on the sidelines of the UNGA session

On September 22, 2022, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, an informal meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held, where the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin delivered a speech.

Minister in his speech touched upon the current issues of the Muslim countries, the fight against terrorism and extremism and the current situation in Afghanistan.

"The countries of the Organization are rich in human and natural resources, as well as great energy, transport and communication opportunities, and their effective use can contribute to the development of the economic situation and prosperity, as well as to the strengthening peace, stability and security in the region.", - recalled S. Muhriddin.
