The crews of the assault aviation of the Southern Military District in the Stavropol territory made more than 2.5 thousand training sorties in 2021

The crews of the assault aviation of the 4th air force and air defence army of the Southern Military District in the Stavropol territory made more than 2.5 thousand training sorties in 2021, completing the flight training program for the academic year.

During the training period, the servicemen spent over 2 thousand hours in the sky on modernized Su-25 and Su-25SM attack aircraft.

During combat training, the crews worked out tasks to ensure the cover of the state border, improved air maneuvering skills, flew at maximum range, at different altitudes and under different weather conditions both day and night.

In addition, the crews of the assault aviation performed combat training tasks during joint actions with army aviation units and as part of tactical flight exercises.
