Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific

On May 10, 2022, was held an online meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Ms. Armida Salsia.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development and implementation of effective projects on development of regional trade, energy, transport and the protection of glaciers.

The sides also discussed the details of participation in the 78th online session of UNESCAP (May 23-27, 2022, Bangkok) and the 2nd Dushanbe International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development", 2018-2028.
