Maan “together” Programme achieves ISO 29993 certificate

Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs, Chairman of the Anti-Violence and Addiction Committee His Excellency Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received the ISO 29993:2017 certificate, which was achieved by the Maan "Together" programme. The certificate considered the first version of accreditation in Kingdom of Bahrain, where Director of Anti- Violence and Addiction Programme Maan "together" handed over the certificate to His Excellency, reviewing all the measures that have been taken to achieve the necessary requirements to obtain the accreditation from the International Organization for Standardization ISO.

His Excellency Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman commended the achievement which was attributed to the directives of Interior Minister His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and his future vision in maintianing security.

For his part, the director of the Maan "Together" programme clarified that the ISO 29993:2017 certificate was granted in the learning services system outside the formal education. The certificate includes any educational services provided by the learning service provider and is directed to the learners themselves, qualification and training programmes, as well as to sponsors who obtain services on behalf of the learners. The gained achievement reflected the programme's commitment to applying the standards represented in measuring the quality of the training and awareness programmes, the effective sequencing of the teaching process, while ensuring the availability of comprehensive outcomes for learning services outside formal education in order to gain knowledge and improve the effectiveness and transparency of learning services. That could be achieved through the provision of all elements such as information provided to learners, analysis, in addition to methodologies for the final evaluation after the implementation of the training programme.

It is worth noting that the accreditation certificate contributes in all internal processes and means to help build alternative approaches, enhance infrastructure, provide innovation and support public policy.
