He brings you the content you didn't know you needed and we're here for it.

The p00l guy, real name Miles, is...you guessed it, a pool cleaner, except Miles is making waves and has 2.9 Million followers on TikTok. He posts regular videos showing TikTok users how he cleans all kinds of pools, making his incredible pool transformations look easy.

It's no surprise that users love his content. Some have been so inspired that they've started sharing their own pool transformations which Miles duets - or have a bit of fun creating parody versions with their paddling pools! These all use the new duets layout, launched earlier this year.

So in the latest installment of our TikTok Creator Spotlight series, we're bringing you an exclusive interview with Miles where he discusses TikTok goals and favourite videos on the app! Let's dive in...

What do you love most about TikTok?

  • I love how creative you can be with your videos, there's really no right or wrong, so I can take my videos in any direction. I also love discovering new content everyday, there's so much varied content out there.

Why is TikTok right for your content?

  • TikTok is a space for literally anything and it seems a lot of people love pool work! Plus, I can easily condense a one hour job into a 1 minute TikTok and people seem to really enjoy it!

What is your ultimate goal on TikTok

  • It think that would be for me to reach 10 million followers that would be amazing! I'd also love to create some merch - maybe one day I'll have a brand of my own as 'thep00lguy'!

Who do you follow on TikTok and why? What is on your TikTok feed?

  • I follow Jason Derulo (@jasonderulo), his TikTok edits are crazy and they're so interesting, I also follow @skylarfongsupersatisfied as he's really funny and he duets a lot of my tiktoks.

What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?

  • I think that would be my first TikTok as it blew up straight away! It definitely encouraged me to make more tiktoks and it's now become part of some people's daily routine to watch them!

Another creator bringing using the platform to create fun content around their job is the TikTok postie, @LauraorGil. She also recently featured in our Creator Spotlight series, with her videos brightening up many people's lockdowns!
