Ships of the Caspian Flotilla continue their inter-fleet passage across the Don to Azov Sea

A detachment of ships of the Caspian Flotilla continued the inter-fleet passage to the Black Sea after stopping at the roadstead in Rostov-on-Don.

The ships passed Volgograd, Kalach-on-Don, Volgodonsk, Semikarakorsk.

As part of the control check during the winter training period, 15 ships of the flotilla make the transition from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea.

According to the plan for passing the control check, the crews of the boats of the Caspian Flotilla, in cooperation with the forces of the Black Sea Fleet, will take part in the naval exercises.

By order of the commander of the Southern Military District, General of the Army Alexander Dvornikov, units of the marines and coastal forces of the Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla were involved in checking the readiness to repel sea and air assault forces.

The control check of the Southern Military District troops during the winter training period is carried out according to the approved troop training plan for 2021 and is aimed at increasing the level of combat and operational training of troops and forces of the military district, improving the forms and methods of conducting exercises and training, taking into account the evolving situation within the boundaries of responsibility.
