As a part of the City's #HappyAtHomeTPA campaign, Tampa Parks and Recreation is launching a series of online family-friendly videos, activities, and resources to keep Tampa residents occupied and entertained as they practice social distancing.
'We know folks are getting tired of being at home and frankly, a little antsy, which is why we're thinking outside of the box to bring some fun right to their living rooms,' says Mayor Jane Castor. 'Anything we can do to keep kids entertained and offer families ways to enjoy quality time while staying safely at home is a win win in our books. Even though our parks are closed, our staff is constantly thinking of ways we can serve our community during this difficult time.'
Everyone is encouraged to share their experiences by tagging Tampa Parks & Recreation and the City of Tampa on social media.
Tampa's Parks and Recreation will continue to provide updated content to serve and engage the community during the Safer at Home order.
