At about 9:30 PM on Saturday January 13, 2018, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) responded to a call for shots fired in the area of Gloucester Street near Boylston Street in the Back Bay. On arrival, officers located two adult male victims in their 20's suffering from apparent gunshot wounds who were both quickly transported to an area hospital for treatment. One of the victims remains hospitalized at this time with injuries that are not considered to be life threatening in nature. The second victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
