Muljat Group Establishes Donation Program for WWU

The Muljat Group and The Foundation for WWU & Alumni have announced a new program to support education at Western Washington University.

Bellingham, WA - To provide greater support to students and programs at WWU, Kena Greer Brashear ('95) and Peter Ahn ('13), co-owners of the Bellingham-area real estate agency The Muljat Group, have developed a plan to donate a portion of their total agency compensation to benefit students at Western. Under the program, Muljat will donate 25% of agency compensation from qualified home sales to The Foundation.

"We're thrilled about Mujat Group's partnership with Western Washington University," said Greer Brashear. "We are proud to take this significant step forward, offering our agents and their clients the opportunity to contribute to education, innovation and economic development in our region."

As proud alumni of WWU, Greer Brashear and Ahn look forward to seeing the funds put to use in the student community. The donations from Muljat will go to a fund that will prioritize scholarships for student athletes, programs to support students who are single parents, and to help students who are struggling with food and housing insecurity.

"This collaboration not only signifies growth, but also a fantastic opportunity for our agents to give back to the community," added Ahn. "We're eager to see the positive changes our joint efforts will bring and look forward to the impactful ways we can contribute together."

Although the focus of the program will be on faculty and staff of Western, any community member is eligible to participate in the program. To be eligible, clients must register in advance for the program through the Muljat website, muljatgroup.com.
