BOYERS, PENNSYLVANIA -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) was among the local elected officials and leaders who toured a new multi-million dollar infrastructure project in Boyers, Butler County.

The $5.2 million sewage and infrastructure project was fully funded by Community Development Block Grant funding made possible in part by a letter of support authored by Rep. Kelly. The project will serve 236 area residents, including 103 homes and 11 businesses, across Boyers and Marion Township in northern Butler County.

"This project provides a big return on investment for local taxpayers. We are proudly investing in infrastructure projects all over Butler County," said Rep. Kelly. "This project will improve the quality of life for area residents and support businesses across Boyers and Marion Township. This is a true team effort across all levels of government. Investing in physical infrastructure like this is an investment in our region's future."

"This infrastructure investment provides necessary services and enhances the quality of life for the residents and businesses in the Boyers community," said Mark Gordon, Chief of Economic Development and Planning for Butler County. "Thanks to my fellow University of Notre Dame graduates, Congressman Kelly and Representative Bonner, for their willingness to fight for the communities they represent."

Construction on the project began in 2023 and is expected to be completed this summer.
