The crews of the Il-38 aircraft of the Pacific Fleet carried out bombing on the submarine of a mock enemy

The crews of four Il-38 anti-submarine aircraft worked out the tasks of searching for and destroying a mock enemy submarine during a tactical flight exercise of a mixed aviation regiment from the troops and forces in the North-East of Russia.

During the performance of tasks over the water area of the Avacha Bay at the first stage of the exercise, accompanied by MiG-31 fighters, the pilots carried out a comprehensive application of radar and sonar detection equipment with the setting of buoys, receiving and analyzing information.

Combat training tasks were successfully completed by all crews of Il-38 anti-submarine aircraft.

In total, more than 20 aircraft and helicopters are involved in the tactical flight exercise on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

During the event, the tasks of combat use of MiG-31 aircraft and Ka-27 and Ka-29 helicopters will also be worked out.
