Solomon Airlines has announced they have approval to offer 10 passenger seats for sale onboard the airline's Airbus A320-200 international aircraft from Tarawa to Brisbane this Saturday.
Bookings are available to those who have existing approval to enter Australia or transit in Brisbane within 8 hours. Other than the 10 allocated seats, the flight will be dedicated to cargo only.
Flight IE 697 will depart Brisbane at 8.00am arriving in Tarawa at 3.00pm operating as a cargo-only flight.
Flight IE 698 will depart Tarawa at 5.00pm arriving in Brisbane at 8.00pm.
Spaces are strictly limited and passengers intending to book must have the right of entry to Australia or a transit visa and another flight within 72 hours of arrival. COVID-19 tests are not required for entry.

Solomon Airlines confirmed that additional flights may operate in future, with dates still to be determined.
Passengers who are interested in being informed of future flights are able to register interest with the Australian High Commission in Kiribati or with Solomon Airlines directly using the airline's Unscheduled Flight Expression of Interest Form on their Travel Advice page.
All Solomon Airlines flights comply fully with the COVID-19 regulations of the relevant countries including all passengers being required to wear facemasks in all airports and for the full duration of the flight. Solomon Airlines crew onboard the airline's A320 aircraft also wear facemasks and gloves for the duration of service and catering is minimal to reduce contact between passengers and crew.
