Finnish experience in the field of education is applied.

The State Inspectorate for Quality Control in Education held a meeting with leaders and representatives of a number of companies that have implemented cooperation projects with Uzbekistan in the field of education in Finland.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set a number of tasks for the study and implementation of advanced foreign experience in the development of the education system in our country, in particular, the education system of Finland.

To ensure the implementation of these tasks, together with the Education Inspectorate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Finland in Uzbekistan and a number of organizations, negotiations were held with leading experts, scientists and investors in Finland.

The visit of the delegation to our country is an integral part of work in this direction, during which the parties exchanged views on the education system of Uzbekistan and Finland, as well as current joint projects and plans for the future.

The head of the Inspectorate for Education Ulugbek Tashkenbaev thanked the guests for ongoing cooperation projects to improve the quality of education in Uzbekistan and the introduction of Finnish experience, noting that this work will continue in the future.

'Despite the fact that the Inspectorate for Education was recently established, it studies international experience to improve the quality of work in this area, and also conducts systematic work to ensure that young people become qualified personnel. In particular, today much attention is paid to reforming the education system of our country through the introduction of the Finnish experience.

As a result of our cooperation, which began in November last year, student exchange programs were created between Navoi and Laappenranta, student exchange programs with the Tashkent State Economic University, and curricula in Finland are being translated into Uzbek. This is, of course, the beginning of huge results to be achieved. In the future, these ties will undoubtedly expand and serve as an important bridge between our countries and cultures, - said Ulugbek Tashkenbaev.

Harry Suominen, co-founder of Edunation Finland, said he fully agreed with the head of the Education Inspectorate:

- First of all, I would like to thank the staff of the Inspectorate for Education and partner organizations for the warm welcome. During my work on interstate student exchange, I had to visit many countries of the world. But I was struck by Uzbekistan's passion for reforming the education system and raising the next generation. We are also proud to be part of this project, 'said a spokesman for Edunation Finland.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the work done on signing memorandums and plans for the future in the framework of student exchange, joint educational programs, projects in mathematics and teaching the Finnish language.

During the talks, Honorary Consul of Finland in Uzbekistan Alisher Juraev spoke about the prospects for cooperation, noting that the introduction of Finnish educational experience in Uzbekistan will be the first step for new projects in this area.

- In the first days of cooperation in studying the Finnish experience, on behalf of the head of our state, restrictions on pandemics around the world were not lifted. However, a number of online meetings and workshops were organized in cooperation with the Education Inspectorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as appropriate.

In addition, cooperation has been established with the central cities of Finland, as well as with a number of regions. In this process, the work was based on the principle of 'bottom-up approach'. In particular, since March, Finnish teachers have been coming to Zarafshan in Navoi region to teach students the Finnish language and help introduce the experience of Finnish schools in Uzbekistan. This, of course, is not the only example of partnership between the parties. I think that the results of our negotiations will increase, - said Alisher Dzhuraev.

It should be noted that the Finnish experience was cited by the head of our state as an example of improving the quality and efficiency of education in our country. After all, the country's students are distinguished by the highest results in international literacy.

The Inspectorate for Education, in cooperation with the relevant ministries, is systematically working to study the advanced aspects of the country's education system. In particular, in cooperation with the National Education Agency of Finland, a 'Road Map' has been developed, which reflects the tasks and areas of cooperation aimed at studying the Finnish educational experience and its effective implementation in our country.

In particular, through these events with the participation of experts from the National Education Agency of Finland and professors and teachers of the University of Helsinki, educational programs
