Savills Lucy Whife recognised as CoreNet UK Young Leader of the Year

Savills is a key sponsor of CoreNet, a membership and networking organisation that aims to represent occupiers and unify the corporate real estate profession.

The award recognises dedication and enthusiasm for an individual's work, exemplifies excellence and should be considered 'one to watch' in the broad field of corporate real estate.

The nine judges, who also form the CoreNet UK chapter executive board, work for some of world's most prestigious organisations, including Microsoft, Ericsson and HSBC. In particular, Lucy was recognised for the way she developed and implemented initiatives that positively impacted the profession and for how she supported, adjusted and enhanced her employer's objectives during Covid-19.

One of the judges said: 'We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic amount of talent within our industry.'

Jeremy Bates, EMEA Head of Occupational Markets at Savills, says: 'I am delighted for Lucy who is a deserving winner of this award. Her dedication and leadership skills are evident for all to see and it's a pleasure seeing how she is driving forward change in the industry.'

Lucy joined CoreNet's UK Chapter when she started at Savills in 2016 and has been on the Young Leaders Committee for the past two years and is also Chair of the Global Membership Committee for Young Leaders.

She will be put forward, along with the other regional winners, for the Global Young Leader Award and will hopefully be able to attend the Global CoreNet Summit in Seattle in November where the winner is announced.
