Spread the News, the Holiday Giveaway is Here!

SMART is excited to announce it's time for our 9^th Annual Holiday Giveaway! It's been a rough few years for everyone and as we're reaching the holiday season we wanted to continue our tradition of giving back to our riders.

The Annual Holiday Giveaway is SMART way to spread holiday cheer to those we are most grateful for, our riders. In the hopes of making their lives a little easier and their days a little brighter, we will be surprising them at our bus stops with the gift of free rides. We love a good surprise, so we aren't disclosing the exact dates and times that the Holiday Helpers will deliver the free rides, but passengers and drivers should be on the lookout the week of December 13^th.

In the spirit of the season, if you receive a free trip and find you don't need it, please pay it forward to someone who does. Transportation remains an obstacle for many in our community and can be the source of stress for those trying to get to work, grocery stores, doctor's appointments, or to see family. We're hoping to ease that burden for many with this giveaway and every day with affordable transit.
