Newsletter for the AML compliance officers

AML compliance officers (ALMCO) play a key role in combatting money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT). Given the importance of their tasks, the FSMA wishes to increase opportunities for exchanging information with AMLCOs, in particular by publishing newsletters and organising events specifically for them.

In line with this aim, the FSMA has published a newsletter (available in French - Dutch only) for AMLCOs, to inform them of recent developments regarding AML/CFT and of upcoming events. These include, in particular, the first-ever 'AMLCO Days' that will take place on 3 October 2022 and the updating of Communication FSMA_2020_12 of 6 October 2020 on the annual activity report of the AMLCO, with a view to specifying the deadline for submitting the said report to the FSMA.
