Oak Cliff Cultural Center & CocoAndré Celebrate Día de los Muertos in Oak Cliff

Dallas - The Oak Cliff Cultural Center and CocoAndré are partnering once again to present the annual Día de los Muertos Oak Cliff celebration. This year's festival will take place outdoors and continue thetradition of honoring loved ones that have passed away. There will be lively performances, music, a small vendor market, altars, and more.

"This cultural tradition has been celebrated by our community for generations," Oak Cliff Cultural Center Manager Rafael Tamayo said. "We continue to honor the memory of our loved ones by presenting a unique experience with the support of our partners and the community alike. The past year and a half have presented challenges that highlight the importance of coming together for Día de los Muertos."

Oak Cliff Cultural Center and CocoAndré invite the community to participate in Dia de los Muertos Oak Cliff from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at CocoAndré Chocolatier and Horchateria located at 508 W. 7th St., Dallas, TX 75208.

This event is free and open to the public. The first 100 visitors will receive free hot chocolate courtesy of CocoAndré Chocolatier and Horchateria to celebrate over 10 years of arts and culture at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center, a division of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, offers the community a multi-purpose studio and art gallery while continuing the tradition of cultural services. It is located at 223 W. Jefferson Blvd. Dallas, TX 75208.
