The crews of the Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District took part in the exercise to destroy high-speed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which took place at a special training ground in the Republic of Buryatia.
In conditions of electronic interference, servicemen detected, captured and struck with electronic launches up to 12 simultaneously moving air targets at a distance of more than 10 km.
Particular attention during the exercise was paid to repelling enemy UAV attacks in a group formation.
In total, about 100 air defence specialists of the combined-arms army of the Air Defence Forces took part in the exercise, over 10 units of weapons, military and special equipment were involved.
