Weil Advises Sun European Partners on the Acquisition of Sports & Leisure Group

Weil is advising Sun European Partners on the acquisition of Sports & Leisure Group, alongside management, in our first deal for new client Sun European Partners. Sports & Leisure is a Belgium-headquartered artificial turf systems provider, and a leader in sustainability led innovation through the continuous development of environmentally friendly artificial grass solutions and its focus on end-of-life recycling.

The Weil team is being led by partner Marco Compagnoni with support from associate Martin Weatherston-Wilson. The team also includes associates James Evelegh, William Akman and Lottie Hudson. Banking advice is being provided by partner Chris McLaughlin and associate Edward Hyde. Weil's Tax, Technology and IP, and Real Estate teams are also assisting on the transaction.
