Meeting with representatives of the German Bundestag

On March 29, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Deputy Chairman of the "Germany-Central Asia" parliamentary group of the German Bundestag Manfred Grund.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the proposals to intensify relations between Uzbekistan and Germany emphasing on the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue.

Mutual interest was expressed in increasing trade, economic and investment cooperation, establishing partnerships between research institutions, expanding joint programs and projects in the fields of labor migration and education.

The agenda of the negotiations also included the issues of upcoming joint contacts at various levels and formats.
