Nominations are now open for voluntary/unpaid roles with four City of South Perth community reference/advisory groups:
The term of appointment to the group(s) will be October 2021 to October 2023.
Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group (RWG)
The RWG is a new group being established to assist with the implementation of the City's Reconciliation Action Plan. The RWG will meet quarterly during office hours and will supersede the former Aboriginal Reference Group. Nominees must fall into one of the following categories to be eligible to nominate for the RWG:
Inclusive Community Advisory Group (ICAG)
The ICAG is an existing group that is responsible for the oversight of the City's Access and Inclusion Plan. The ICAG will meet quarterly during office hours. Nominees must fall into one of the following categories to be eligible to nominate for the ICAG:
Community Safety and Crime Prevention Group (CS&CPG)
The CS&CPG is an existing group that is responsible for the oversight of the City's Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. The CS&CPG will meet quarterly during office hours. Nominees must fall into one of the following categories to be eligible to nominate for the CS&CPG:
Arts Advisory Group (AAG)
The AAG is a new group being established to provide specialist advice and recommendations on City and private developer public art projects, the management of the City's collection of art and public art and relevant arts and cultural projects and programs. The AAG will meet quarterly after office hours and will supersede the former Public Art Advisory Group.
There are four places for industry members on the AAG. Nominees must be arts professionals with qualifications and/or substantial experience in one or more of the following fields to be eligible to nominate for the AAG:

Nominees can express their interest for any of the above community reference/advisory groups by completing a Nomination Form (including detailing relevant experience and accepting the terms of reference) before Friday 8 October 2021.
