Formulation of a Draft Plan Regarding the Development of Specified Complex Tourist Facilities Area in Yumeshima, Osaka

TOKYO, Japan - December 23, 2021 - ORIX Corporation ("ORIX") announced today that, as a consortium formed with MGM Resorts Japan LLC ("MGM") as the core companies, it has formulated a draft "Plan Regarding the Development of Specified Complex Tourist Facilities Area in Yumeshima, Osaka" jointly with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City to apply for approval from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in accordance with the provisions of Article 9, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Development of Specified Complex Tourist Facility Areas.

Through this project, ORIX and MGM hope to contribute toward the sustainable growth of Osaka and the Kansai region, and eventually the growth of tourism and the broader economy across Japan. Based on the partnership with MGM, ORIX will now work with the public and private sectors to promote processes for realizing this project successfully.
