Quirinale Treaty – press statements at Villa Madama

Following the signing of the Quirinale Treaty, President of the Council of Ministers Mario Draghi and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron will be issuing joint statements to the press at 9.30am on Friday 26 November at Villa Madama.

Media representatives must apply for accreditation by midday on Thursday 25 November, by using the AMEI (Media Accreditation for Institutional Events) portal available at the following link: https://amei.palazzochigi.it, or by sending an e-mail to [email protected] indicating their name, surname, media organisation of reference, press card and mobile phone number.

In compliance with COVID-19 regulations, access to Villa Madama will be limited. There will be four questions in total, two for each delegation.

Accredited journalists will be contacted for confirmation and must report to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (entrance on Via Macchia della Farnesina) on Friday morning , where security checks will be carried out between 7.40am and 8.30am.

Journalists will then be taken to Villa Madama in a Presidency of the Council of Ministers vehicle. In order to be granted access, attendees must show their 'green pass' [EU Digital COVID Certificate] and wear an FFP2 mask.
