Mar 29, 2024 Award Announcement: UNIV 201-301 - Engaging undergraduate students

March 29, 2024 - Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) is pleased to announce that the University of California, Office of the President has awarded $115,000 to Professor HyeSun Lee's project, "UNIV 201/301 Undergraduate Research: Becoming a Scholar - An Online Course that Accommodates the Needs of Diverse Groups of Students."

The project aims to develop an interdisciplinary online undergraduate research course to facilitate the engagement of undergraduate students in research and creative activities. The project aligns with the CSUCI's mission of an interdisciplinary approach while facilitating student research experiences through the University Studies Program. The funding of this project will enhance student success by fostering the development of research and critical thinking skills and fostering robust connections between faculty and students.
