WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2022 COVID UPDATE VIA DESOTO

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, Dallas County Health and Human Services reported a four-day total of9,381 new Positive 2019-Novel-Coronavirus-COVID-19-cases from Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. 7,774 of those cases were confirmed and 1,607 were probable. There were also 9 COVID deaths

During the week ending 1/8/22, Dallas County Health and Human Services also released a spreadsheet by Cities of the number of people over 18 years of age who have been vaccinated and the percentage of the population in that city that has been vaccinated. In DeSoto, that number was 82% with at least one dose of vaccine and 66% who were fully vaccinated.

Minor children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and a consent form will be required.
