Pause for thought

MenopauseWhy are we talking about menopause now?

Our Company is committed to creating a menopause friendly workplace, full of understanding and support to help everyone be the very best they can be.

That's why we're getting expert advice from Henpicked, a community of women that promotes healthy debate to bring about positive change for women. And as well as launching a working adjustments passport, we're running menopause awareness training online for all our employees with some additional training available specifically for line managers. Our 'Pause for Thought' Employee Resource Group also provides an open environment for women and men to share their personal experiences and information.

Menopause has been a taboo subject for far too long. With three in four women experiencing a wide range of symptoms, we will all be touched by it - if not ourselves, then as partners, sons and daughters, friends, colleagues and line managers. It's important that we're able to have open, respectful conversations about menopause so nobody feels they have to suffer in silence, or mask what they're going through
