Vietnam, China enhance defence cooperation

(Bqp.vn) - Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien hosted a reception for China' outgoing defence attaché to Vietnam Colonel Luo Bin, and newly-appointed one Colonel Pan Tao in Hanoi on June 2.

During the reception

At the reception, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China. Accordingly, the bilateral defence cooperation has developed continuously over the past time. The two sides have maintained the exchange of high-ranking delegations, cooperation mechanisms between naval forces, coast guards and institutes, and in military medicine as well.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien congratulated Cononel Luo Bin on successfully completing his working term in Vietnam and stressed that Cononel Luo Bin has contributed effectively to strengthening the defence cooperation relationship between the two countries. He also affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence would always create favorable conditions for Colonel Pan Tao to fulfill his assigned tasks in Vietnam in the coming time.
