CSTO collective peacekeeping forces contingents are returning to their permanent deployment points

The command of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, together with the Kazakh side, developed a plan for the return of peacekeepers to their countries.

The first units of Russian paratroopers of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, who performed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, having flown four Il-76MD military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny airfield, returned to the point of permanent deployment .

Today having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, the peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan on military transport aircraft Il-76 of the Russian Aerospace Forces will return to their homeland.

Unit of peacekeepers of the Kyrgyz Republic will march to the point of permanent deployment on standard vehicles on their own.

Tomorrow the return of the Russian contingent of the CSTO peacekeeping forces to their bases will continue.

The return of the peacekeepers to the points of permanent deployment is planned to be completed by January 19 of this year.
