Texas Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) State Plan

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking public comment on the draft TANF State Plan for fiscal years 2023 through 2025.

HHSC administers the TANF program and is required to renew the state plan every three years. Federal regulations require states post the plan for public comments for 45 days. Comments on TANF State Plan may be submitted from July 1-August 16, 2022 by email to HHSC Access and Eligibility (AES) Program Policy at [email protected] or through U.S. Mail to the following:
