Deputy Head of Roscosmos became Knight of the Legion of Honor

On March 31, 2021, at the French Embassy in Moscow, Roscosmos Deputy Director General for International Cooperation Sergey Saveliev was awarded with the French state award, the Order of the Legion of Honor.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Dmitry Rogozin, Director General Roscosmos, and Pierre Levy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the decree of Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, signed on September 23, 2020, Sergey Saveliev was awarded the title of Knight of the Legion of Honor (5th degree) 'for his significant contribution to strengthening cooperation and interaction between the French Republic and the Russian Federation'.
