Kelsee Jordan Lee has accepted the position of Economic Development Director for the City of Cibolo. After an extensive search, Lee had the qualities and experience that would be a great addition to Cibolo's Economic Development Department and the City's executive team that is driving a Vision Inspired, Mission Focused, Values Driven, and Performance Based organization. Her anticipated start date is August 29th. The Economic Development Department provides leadership and direction on achieving responsible economic growth, assisting businesses to grow and prosper, expanding our retail sector to diversify the Cibolo's tax base, and ensuring new industrial and commercial development promotes the goals and standards of the community so that Cibolo retains its community character and high quality of life. Lee joins team Cibolo from the City of San Marcos where she has served as the Economic and Business Development Manager.

She also previously worked for the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio, a public-private organization tasked with expanding export opportunities for businesses in the San Antonio region.

"Cibolo continues to be the City of Choice for new commercial and industrial development with a historic past and a bright future," Lee stated. "I am delighted for the opportunity to bring new skills and experiences to support the growth of the local business community"

"I am excited to have Kelsee rejoin Team Cibolo. Her passion, expertise, and knowledge about economic development, building partnerships, and thinking outside the box provide her with a strong foundation to lead our Economic Development Department. More important is that our employees and I found her to be ideal cultural fit for our values-based organization. She has demonstrated that her knowledge and experience will elevate our organization and support our growing business community. With Kelsee leading economic development, I am confident we are building the right team that will make Cibolo the best governmental partner businesses have ever experienced. Therefore, I am confident Kelsee is a perfect fit for our organization," stated Wayne Reed, Cibolo City Manager.
