Cherokee Film makes shortlist for 2024 Global Production Awards

TULSA, Okla. - Screen International recently unveiled its shortlist for the Global Production Awards, which celebrate outstanding and sustainable work in film and TV.

Cherokee Film received nominations in three categories, including "Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People" for the Community Impact Award, Cherokee Film for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award and Cherokee Film Commission for the Film Commission Award.

Among those shortlisted alongside Cherokee Film are the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture, Universal, Warner Bros and BBC. The 2024 awards ceremony takes place on May 20 in Cannes, France, during the Cannes Film Festival.

Now in its second year, the awards recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts of people, organizations and businesses operating in film and TV production, including studios, film commissions, production companies and location services, as well as manufacturers and suppliers working in the film and TV industry.
