PRESS RELEASE

  • On 1 July 2022, GPW Supervisory Board has appointed Members of the GPW Management Board for a new term: Mr Adam Młodkowski as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for managing the financial actions of a company, Ms Monika Gorgoń as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for responsible for operations and regulation, Mr Tomasz Dąbrowski as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for IT

On 1 July 2022, the GPW Supervisory Board , decided to appoint for a new term of office starting on July 27 th, 2022:

  • Mr Adam Młodkowski as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for managing the financial actions of a company (Mr Adam Młodkowski taking up the role as Member of the GPW Management Board will resign from his role of the Vice President of the Management Board of Polish Power Exchange),
  • Ms Monika Gorgoń as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for responsible for operations and regulation,
  • Mr Tomasz Dąbrowski as Member of the Exchange Management Board, responsible for IT.

The aforementioned decision shall take effect conditional on the approval of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority for the change on the Exchange Management Board.

Adam Młodkowski

Adam Młodkowski graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz with a degree in Finance and Banking. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Study Programme for Financial Directors organized by the Institute of Business Development (Instytut Rozwoju Biznesu) as well as a broker training course and a course for candidates for members of supervisory boards of companies with State Treasury shareholding.
For many years of his professional career Adam Młodkowski was associated with the banking sector, among others with the Pekao S.A. Group and PKO Bank Polski S.A. In the years 2003-2009 he was a Member of the Management Board, and then Vice President and President of the Management Board of Bankowy Fundusz Leasingowy S.A., which under his leadership became one of the fastest growing and largest leasing companies in Poland.
Adam Młodkowski was also the founder and President of the Management Board of two independent consulting companies, concerned with, among others, financial restructuring of power industry companies and capital raising, asset valuation and strategic consulting. In 2016, he joined the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ S.A.) as Director of the Administrative Office and from 2018 he served as an advisor to the President of the Management Board of SGB Bank, responsible for the branch network reorganisation project, and then Managing Director of the Sales Division in the pension fund management company Pocztylion-Arka PTE S.A. From January to September 2020, he was an independent member of the supervisory board of KDPW_CCP. recommended by GPW. In September 2020, after obtaining the consent of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, he took the position of Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance at Towarowa Giełda Energii. Since April 2021, he has also been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Commodity Exchange Clearing House.

Monika Gorgoń

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, doctoral seminar in law, LL.M. program in International Commercial Law at Kozminski University in Warsaw, as well as of postgraduate Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at the Warsaw Management University and the Apsley Business School of London. She holds the title of attorney at law and has been awarded compliance certificates (ACO, ACE) by the Compliance Institute in cooperation with the Viadrina Compliance Center (European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder)). She is currently in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. degree in management and quality sciences based on the PhD dissertation entitled Management of non-compliance risk in the companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Since 2017, as a director, she has supervised the areas of compliance, risk, business continuity, AML, and internal control at WSE and has also chaired the WSE Advisory Committee for Compliance. Vice-Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of GPW Benchmark S.A.
She gained extensive experience in the regulated activity sector, while working, inter alia, for the Citi Group and Orange Polska.
Distinction of Rising Business Star by Rzeczpospolita in 2021 and Financial Services Chairperson of the Year 2021 (Europe) by the CEO Monthly (UK). Finalist Excellence in Compliance Awards - CCO/CECO of the year 2022 - Compliance Week (US).

Tomasz Dąbrowski

Tomasz Dąbrowski graduated from the University of Lodz (Finance and Banking faculty), he also completed MBA studies at the Warsaw Management University.
He gained his first professional experience in Kredyt Bank S.A. Then, after graduation in 1996, he worked for 11 years for the Raiffeisen Group. That also includes brokerage house for the first 4 years. He prepared IPOs, bonds issues, capital market transactions, among others he was also responsible for the product offer of treasury and investment products and at Raiffeisen Bank. During the period of 2007-2012 he was the vice president of the management board of the IT company - Pentegy S.A. Founder and during 2013-2016 vice-president of the management board of the brokerage house Q Securities S.A. From 2016 to 2019 he was a member of the management board of Poczta Polska S.A. (national postal operator), and in the period 2019-2020 he was a member of the management board of Bank Pocztowy S.A. Currently, among others, runs his own business activity in the field of management. He also positions of a member and chairman of supervisory boards in public listed and private companies, including pension fund management company. Currently a supervisory board member in Ideas NCBR.
