The development opportunities for Azerbaijan-Pakistan energy cooperation was discussed

Parviz Shahbazov, Azerbaijani Minister of Energy has met with the Musadik Masood Malik, Pakistani Minister of State for Petroleum.

At the meeting, emphasizing the brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries, the Minister expressed his country's solidarity with the Azerbaijani people and expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of military personnel as a result of provocations caused by the armed forces of Armenia.

Later, the ministers considered prospective opportunities for the development of Azerbaijan-Pakistan cooperation in the field of energy, exchanged views on Azerbaijan's experience in the areas of expansion of energy export infrastructure and natural gas transportation, issues of cooperation in the fields of liquefied natural gas supply to Pakistan, pipeline transportation infrastructure in the country, regasification of liquefied gas, oil refining, and retail of oil products. At the same time, the guest was informed about the green energy potential of Azerbaijan, the projects implemented with the involvement of foreign investments in order to realize this potential, especially the work done to create a green energy zone in the liberated territories.
