Possible Shooting Incident

UPDATE: The suspect potentially connected with this incident is now in police custody.

On 7/28/2022, at approximately 1:42 AM, Lakeway Police responded to the area of Otter Creek Court in reference to a report of the sound of gun shots. Officers checked the area, but found no suspects or any signs of a shooting. Approx. 20 minutes later, Officers responded to a second call of the same nature in the 1700 block of Lakeway Blvd. After checking the area, Officers again found no suspects or signs of a shooting.

On 7/31/2022 and 8/1/2022, Lakeway Officers obtained information indicating there was damage to two houses in the area. Officers have reason to believe the damage was caused by gunfire. Officers also believe the damage was caused on the morning of 7/28/2022. No one was hurt during the incident.

The Lakeway Police Department has identified a man who may have been involved in the incident. He is described as:

The man may be driving a white Jeep Wrangler similar to the vehicle pictured in the image below. Officers believe this man is known to the residents of the two homes that were damaged, and have reason to believe that the shooting incident was not random. Should you see a white Jeep Wrangler in the area of Otter Creek Court being driven by a white male as described above, call 9-1-1. Do not approach the subject as he may be armed and dangerous.
