Today, 15 IL-76 aircraft and three An-124 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces will deliver personnel and equipment of airborne units that have completed tasks as part of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO to airfields in the Ivanovo and Moscow regions.

Upon arrival, the units will march to the points of permanent deployment on standard equipment .

Earlier, the advanced units of Russian paratroopers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, who carried out tasks of protection of socially significant facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, flew back home by four Il-76md planes of the military transport aviation of the Russian Air Force from the airfield Almaty to the airfield Severny (Ivanovo).

On January 14 of this year, after loading equipment and personnel, peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on regular equipment on their own.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent locations is scheduled to be completed by January 19 this year.
