Ranger’s Choice Hikes offered in July at National Park

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger on any Tuesday in July from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for the "hike of the week." This Ranger's Choice Hike will vary based on what trail is most beautiful or most interesting that day. Meet at the visitor center and then follow the ranger to the trailhead. Program time includes the drive to the trail. Dress for the weather.

The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 North State Road 49, about one mile north of Interstate 94. The national park's new entrance fee went into effect as of March 31, 2022. The fee is $25 per car for a 1-7-day pass. A $45 annual pass for the Indiana Dunes National Park is also available. Holders of the following federal passes will not pay an entrance fee: Annual, Senior, Veterans/Military/Gold Star Family, 4th Grade, Access (disability), and the Volunteer Passes. The Indiana Dunes National Park is one of more than 400 units of the National Park System ranging from Yellowstone to the Statue of Liberty.
