CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -More than 50 labor unions were shooting for strikes and spares on Sunday to help families in need.
Muscular Dystrophy Association Iowa held its annual Labor Union Challenge this weekend at Westdale Bowling in Cedar Rapids.
Labor unions from Cedar Rapids and Waterloo competed over both bowling scores and over which group could raise the most money.
The proceeds will go toward MDA Iowa, which helps about 1,700 families across the state affected by neuromuscular disease.
