Have you ever thought about working for the City of Philadelphia but did not know where to begin, thought you had to know someone to be considered, or just didn't think you would qualify?
Join the City of Philadelphia's Office of Human Resources (OHR) for an upcoming Civil Service Career information session!
In Philadelphia, Civil Service positions cover various roles within the city's government, ranging from administration to law enforcement and beyond. These positions are based on merit and offer stability, competitive pay, generous benefits and retirement plans. They also allow individuals to directly contribute to the betterment of the city.
OHR is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia and other local organizations to host Civil Service Career information sessions throughout the month of April. These sessions provide insights into Civil Service positions, the application process, and career paths within the municipal government. Whether you are a recent graduate, a professional seeking a change, or someone passionate about serving the community, these sessions are a valuable space to get more information and make connections!
Computers will be available for all who wish to apply for jobs along with any assistance needed.
