The Clatsop County Budget Committee will hold a virtual public meeting 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 on the July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 fiscal year budget. If you need accommodations attend this virtual meeting, please call 503-325-1000.

The purpose of the budget committee meeting is to receive the budget message for the County-wide budget, 4-H & Extension District budget, Road District budget, Rural Law Enforcement District budget and Westport Sewer District budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.

Public Comment

In addition, a separate virtual and in-person meeting of the Budget Committee to receive public comment is scheduled from 4 - 6 p.m. May 8, 2024, at the Judge Guy Boyington Building, 857 Commercial St. in Astoria.

Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. This meeting will begin with four district budgets followed by the County-wide budget.

If needed, additional meetings for budget committee deliberation are scheduled for 10:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. May 15, 2024 and 4-6 p.m. May 22, 2024.
