KnowBe4 Selects Recipient of Inaugural Military, Veteran and Spouse Cybersecurity Scholarship

Navy veteran Tia Felice to pursue an education in cybersecurity

KnowBe4, the provider of the world's largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced it selected recipient Tia Felice for its inaugural Military, Veteran and Spouse Cybersecurity Scholarship program.

The KnowBe4 Military, Veteran and Spouse Cybersecurity Scholarship offers $10,000 to be applied to tuition, fees, books, required electronics and up to $3,000 may be applied to on-campus housing. An (ISC)2 Certification Education Package that includes a certification exam voucher, a study course and other materials, practice exams and one year of membership dues paid is also part of this scholarship program.

"The members of our military, veterans and their spouses have already provided so much to others," said Erika Lance, chief human resources officer, KnowBe4. "We believe that assisting them with their educational costs towards a future cybersecurity career is the least we could do to show our appreciation. Tia is a deserving veteran who is passionate about cybersecurity and we are proud to offer her this scholarship."

"This scholarship has given me the opportunity to further my education in an area I am very passionate about," said Felice. "I am able to continue to save money for my son's education while simultaneously being able to pursue my own dreams in cybersecurity. I am hoping that the graduate program will help get me the experience I need to pursue a career in cybersecurity. With this scholarship, I am able to attend college with less financial stress, save for my son's future and pursue my dreams while saving for my own son's dreams."
