This was a busy weekend for the Football Social Responsibility Department of the Malta Football Association.
As part of it's FSR and Football for Life initiatives, Team MT played a number of friendly games in partnership with Oratory Youths Football Club, Gozo.
The games were played against two teams: one composed of Oratory Youths veterans and the other of refugees who are participating in an EU and UEFA funded project.
The games were played in aid of the Arka Foundation Gozo and a donation was made.
John Busuttil who hosts a programme on sports events in Gozo was at hand to take some interviews with participants.
This event together with a pre-match activity on Saturday was part of the MFA's participation in the Football People Action Week organized by FARE.
Team MT Squad who made the trip to Gozo was made up of Adrian Gatt, Riccardo Flask, Stephanie Chircop, Joven Grech, Konrad Sultana, Peter Busuttil, Rodney Vassallo, Joseph Armani, Frank Zammit, Gianni Zammit, Chris Azzopardi, Luke Dalli, Sergio Mallia, Carlos Farrugia and Carlo Borg Bonaci, led by NT player Rowen Muscat as Team MT Coach.
Team MT's next commitment is a match against Żejtun Corinthians in aid of the ALS Foundation on the 18th November at 10am Żejtun Football Ground.
