In Siberia, the crews of the Buk-M3 repelled a missile and air strike of a mock enemy

Crews of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Central Military District stationed in the Altai territory repelled the missile and aviation strike of the mock enemy.

According to the plan of practical actions, the mock enemy was going to destroy particularly important infrastructure facilities of the Altai territory with an air strike. To cover the airspace, crews of the Buk-M3 air defence system were sent to a given area.

The servicemen made a multi-kilometer march, deployed anti-aircraft missile systems. Further, the crews found air targets, captured and escorted them, and then hit them with electronic missile launches at ranges up to 30 km.

About 200 servicemen took part in the combat training event, more than 30 units of military and special equipment were involved.
