This year's recipients will be recognized at the 2022 Wealth Management and Trust Conference in Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 13-15, 2022.

Machida joined Bank of Hawaii in 2018, and has demonstrated excellence as a relationship manager in its Trust Services Division, where she advises and manages investments and trust accounts for individuals and families navigating the complexities of wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution. She is also a multi-year recipient of the Bank of Hawaii Chairman's Circle award, an annual program that recognizes top-performing employees at the bank.

This past summer, she spearheaded a two-part virtual panel, "A Conversation on Race in Hawaii," co-hosted by Bank of Hawaii, delving into the diversity of ethnicities and cultures within our island home and what we can do to build a brighter, more equitable future for all.

In addition, Machida serves on the boards of Read to Me International, Child and Family Services Guild, Hawaii State Bar Foundation, and Hawaii Women Legal Foundation. As a former Cherry Blossom Festival Queen, she remains a dedicated sponsor of the festival and provides personal development training and guidance to the contestants.
