Marcia Ellis Named Co-Chair of AmCham HK’s Women of Influence Steering Committee

The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham HK) has named Marcia Ellis as co-chair of their Women of Influence Steering Committee. AmCham HK is one of the largest American Chambers of Commerce outside the U.S., the largest international chamber of commerce in Hong Kong, and one of the most dynamic and influential international business organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.

The WOI Committee plays a critical role as a community contributor and a strong advocate for women's empowerment and advancement in the workplace. Through committee meetings and the annual WOI conference, members have the opportunity to build their network and expand their influence both personally and professionally. The WOI Committee is organized by the Steering Committee, composed of professional women from across Hong Kong.

Marcia Ellis is global chair of MoFo's Private Equity Group and focuses her practice on private equity transactions and complex mergers and acquisitions involving companies, real estate, and other assets located in Asia. Marcia has been consistently recognized for her work supporting women in business over the past several years and plays a fundamental role mentoring women professionals within the legal industry, inside and outside the firm. She was recently recognized in the fifth annual publication of IFLR1000 Women Leaders in 2022 and has appeared on the list each year since it has been published. Marcia was also named to Law360's 2022 Private Equity Editorial Board.
